Floodplain Maps

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recently provided copies of updated floodplain maps to the Township for most areas of East Norriton Township with an effective date of March 2, 2016.  As a result of the updates, residents who own properties located within the boundaries of the newly revised floodplain may want to purchase flood insurance for their properties; and mortgage companies may require residents to purchase flood insurance when their property is located within the floodplain.
